The dairy industry faces seemingly insurmountable challenges, and our own farm is not immune.
In the past decade alone, New York State has lost 30% of its dairy farms. Our area has been hit particularly hard, with a number of farm closing their doors. Our farm is one of the few remaining family dairies left in the Hudson Valley.
However, raw milk has given New York dairy farmers an avenue to help provide for their families, bringing financial stability in a world that seems to be increasingly less certain.
